Good morning everyone.
Hope you all had a wonderful September.
I can't believe it is October already.
See everytime I wake up we are in a different month lol
I am very please to have my very first Guest designer post for the wonderful Penny Black And More challenge blog.
The theme for this month is Autumn colours.
I have chosen a stamp from the set Mimi's many loves and for the card I have used golds and oranges with a touch of brown.
Lots of distressing the edges with Creole Spice Kaleidacolor which is fabulous for Autumn.
I used the same ink for the backing paper using a leaf stamp.
Although you can't really see it in the photo I also stamped it all over the ribbon before hand tying the bow.
The glitter card I used is from an A5 card pad from Hobbycraft called Cool Winter.
Added a couple of feathers and bobs your uncle, one completed card.
Diecuts used are from Sizzix and Spellbinders.

Mums birthday card

Good morning everyone.
Just wanted to show you the card I made for my Mums birthday in which I am entering into the Allsorts challenge this week.
It was a huge hit thankfully
Had to wait until today as her birthday was yesterday :)
Dies used are MDCR1205 Butterfly by Marianne, S4-462 labels 39 by Spellbinders and Banner Pennants by Whimsy.
The embossing folder is by Sizzix and came with the Bigshot Teal starter kit it is called Dotted Lattice.
I am so in love with this embossing folder and the Marianne butterfly at the moment. It is just stunning and cuts beautifully.
I have used a lot of glitter and pearls for this card as my mum is as mad about sparkle and bling as I am.
Every little dot on the embossing folder is glittered as are the flowers and butterfly.
Shame it can't all be seen in the picture as the effect is just amazing when the light captuers it.

Merry Christmas Card Box

Good morning everyone.
This creation was originally supposed to be my post for Stamping Sensations
Guest Designer spot due to winning their June challenge (wooohooo go me)
HOWEVER dummy that I am created this and it wasn't until I had taken
the photos that I suddenly noticed it wouldn't be any good.
Why? Because Stamping Sensations as the name suggests is a
stamping blog *doh* I had been so excited to use my prize of the
Tonic Studios full set of  Pretoria Duo dies that I completely
forgot to use a stamp *slaps head*.
For anyone who would like to try the Card box the tutorial
can be found here on youtube.
The papers are from my Christmas stash, I cut and inked all the
edges using a sponge and Promarkers Forest green and pear green.
I assembled the box as per the tutorial and then added my matted
paper layers.
Added all the die cuts and poinsettia corsage and lots and lots of
fine gold glitter dust.
Inside the box I have just added some sweets I had for the photo
but these will be removed and chocolate added when I give it as a gift :)
Dies used ..
Tonic Studios - Pretoria Duo Caps A-N and O-Z
Spellbinders - S4-462 Labels 39
Tattered Lace - Sparkles

Hello and welcome to my new followers.
Todays card is a quickie for the Die Cuttin Divas challenge.

Isn't it cute ? The boys are having a beacj party with their friends to celebrate
the end of their A-levels but I can't see them using this lol
I distress all layer edges and die cuts with promarkers Gold and a sponge.
Great way to use them as I have no distress inks lol
Items used...
Summer papers from Cardmkaing and papercraft
Promarkers Gold, lime green and pear green.
3 Dies from Spellbinders S4-425 also a flower die and leaf flourish die
(unpackaged when I got them so unsure of the names)
