Happy Fantabulous Friday.

I could not believe it when I logged in this morning and saw my 

Poppy card in my own blogroll on the left of my blog.

I scurried over to Stamping Sensations and lo and behold there it was.

I WON.

Woohoooo

Carried on with the rest of my visits.

Got to Penny Black and More and Wowzers I had been chosen as one 

of the winners there for my Butterfly Kisses Fairy.

I tell you, you could have knocked me down with a feather as I

have never been what you would call a lucky person lol.

After the loss of my father in March this has been a blessing in disguise.

That and it's my birthday on Tuesday so perfect timing LOL

They always say these things happen in 3's so I think i'll buy a lottery ticket this week ROFL

Second on the 2nd

Good morning everyone *phew* wasn't it an absolute scorcher yesterday ?
Hottest July on record for us and it's only been 1 day.
Thankfully today is a lot cooler.
Anywhooo
My post today is a second look at one I love for the blog hop you can find here.

It was the day I got my Cuttlebug ( boy do I love it) and the first card I made with it.
Takes cardmaking to a whole new level.

It's Official and Penny Black's Hedgehog Joy

It's Official......
I have the best hubster whom I love very much.
Why ?
He bought me a Cuttlebug LOL
Of course I love him dearly anyway.
Not a brand new one but I already love it to pieces and i've only used it today.
All I need now are dies but i'll be kind to his wallet and wait a little while.

I used my cuttlebug to finish off the card below for the Penny Black and more allsorts challenge blog.

Firstly I used a see-d background stamp in a pink whisper ink.
I then embossed with floral provocraft folder using my cuttlebug (love saying that)
Die cut some flowers and leaves using Marianne Design Creatables Die - Floral 3 LR0107 and a free paper from last months cardmaking and papercraft.
The ribbon and bow I made using the ribbon that tied my blank cards (yes i'm a cheapskate)
I then stamped Penny Black's Hedgehog Joy and coloured using my poundland pencils.
Growing fond of them now lol. Used a fiskars template to cut the circle and inked the edges using the same colour ink I used for the background.
Stamped and cut out a sentiment, inked the edges and used 3D sticky pads for the circle and sentiment and Anitas tacky glue for the flowers, ribbon and finished it off with some card candi in the center of each flower.

Can you tell yet what is missing ? Glitter. Yep. Not a single spec of glitter added. A first for me.
Also before anyone spots it. I embossed the card the wrong way round ROFL
Instead of the flowers popping out the front they are on the inside but hey ho you live and learn LOL

OMG don't you just hate brain farts

Hello hello hello.
Yes I am alive and kicking.
Well alive anyway lol.
Where have I been ? LOCKED OUT.
Damn fibro fog and gmails new password recovery feature is the pits.
You click on forgotten password and then in the next step it asks you all kinds of questions including 'Last password you remember'
Well HELLOOOOOOOOO that's what I clicked forgotten password for *rolls eyes*
Anyway long and short or it is I have finally gotten back in *hurrah*

I have now added my other account (scrappingbits.blogspot.com) as author so if you see Bits N Bobs posting don't panic it's only me LOL
At least this way if I lock myself out again I will still be able to post :)

I have a TONNE of catching up to do and haven't done any crafting as such apart from cross stitching since September last year so have itchy fingers.

I am sure I have a desk underneath all the junk I have been piling on it.
If I remember i'll post a photo before I start clearing it LOL

Oh before I forget BRENDA thanks to you we now have a Labrador pup.
Well Labrador x but still a Lab lol
More on that in my next post but below are a couple of pics at 10 weeks old.
This was supposed to be a quickie as it hurts to type too long but hey ho.

Still alive and cross stitching

Just not creating any cards at the moment.
I am currently working on my Cross stitching.

I am also in the process of creating my own cross stitch charts so keep your eyes peeled for those.

Question for collectors of Digi Stamps

Happy Easter everyone.
I hope you are having a fabulous Easter Week-end.
I have a question for collectors of Digi Stamps.
I have been adding mine as png files purely because I can print them out onto any colour card due to the transparent backgrounds but notice many Digi stamp stores are selling them as Jpg's
Would you prefer PNG's, JPG's or both ?

Welcome to Any Old Craft - 1st post

Hi there and welcome to my little spot.

I am not a huge talker in blog posts and feel a little silly.

I am sure that will change if I get followers but hey ho.

I like to try my hand at a lot of things even if I don't master them

and hope to share some of my attempts with you.

I will also be sharing a lot of digi stamps here so be sure to
