Allsorts week #346 - Girly and sparkly

Another Saturday and another challenge.
This week at Allsorts it is the turn of Tracy M and she has chosen Girly and Sparkly for the theme.
I have decided to create an ATC for my inspiration.
The cute little image is from Digi Darla who has sadly closed her site but I think it is fab for this project.
Coloured using Copics (courtesy of my wonderful hubster)
Colours used are ...
Skin- E00-E31-E51-E70
Hair- E31-E53-E55-E70
Wings- W00-W0-W2
All else B18-B21-B24-RV25-RV13-RV02-YR21 and Y19
Glitter added to wings, dress, moon, stars and flower for extra sparkle.
I have left a gap at the bottom so I can add a name.
Just haven't decided yet where it is going lol
A Day For Daisies provides themed categories of over 3000 digital stamp illustrations for all your crafty projects. See our website to view them all!
And we have a second prize of a pair of tickets to the February Hobbycraft show Manchester.

Penny Black ATC

Good morning everyone *waves*
Not that there is much good about it.
Weather has turned cold, wet and horrible again.
It was so beautiful yesterday as well,
I actually thought it would last a little longer than one day but oh well.
Onwards and upwards as they say lol.
A super huge thank you to everyone who left a comment yesterday.
I have never had so many in one day. Made me feel really special lol
This ATC has been created for the Penny Black and more monthly challenge.
Theme for this month is 'Punches and Dies'
Stamps used are from Penny Black set 'Mimi's Many Loves' and coloured with Promarkers
The die I have used is Xcuts 'Vintage notes - Doily'.
I haven't used all the die though as you can see, I have just used sections for the corners of the ATC.
In this last picture you will see one of my little helpers.
I was working on my lap today and it's a good job he is so tiny or he would never have fit in that little gap lol
Meet Dio, he is one of my two Chihuahuas and a real little Mummy's boy :)

Shades Of Blue first for Brown Sugar

Good morning everyone and welcome to my new followers *waves*
Here is my DT card for the Brown Sugar Challenge blog and the theme this time is Shades of blue and we have two sponsors this time round and they are Delicious Doodles and Sassy Studio Designs
They both have some amazing stamps so do pop on over and take a look.

I have created ATC's for this challenge and am becoming quite addicted to them.
For my first one I have used Steampunk Mermaid by Delicious Doodles
I created 2 of the mermaids so I could paper piece them.
I have used blue and aqua pencils to colour the sea and the mermaids skin.
Grey and black for the rock and black and blue for her hair.
The sand back ground I used some sandpaper borrowed from the hubsters tool box lol
I then used a sentiment that came free on a magazine.

I am entering this into the following.....

Shades of blue 2nd for Brown Sugar

My second ATC is using Cinderella Pinup from the Make A Wish Collection by Sassy Studio Designs
I printed off 3 images and shaded using colour pencils then paper pieced using foam pads for dimension.
Matted holographic card and a pretty blue designer paper from a Posy paper pack.
Punched flowers and a butterfly from the same paper and added some 4mm blue pearls.
Didn't have a stamp for the sentiment so added it using a black fine liner pencil.

Atc Teabagging

Good evening all.
I hope you have had better weather than I have.
It has been pouring down most of the day.
Shouldn't complain because the garden loves it.

I am back this evening with an ATC I have created for the Pan pastels challenge blog.
This week we have to follow a sketch.
Hard enough on a larger card let alone an ATC.
Thought i'd make it even harder for myself and include some teabag folding.
Not sure i'll try it again in a hurry as the squares had to be teeny tiny LOL
Sorry for the poor pics, the light is fading and the flash is to bright.
Enjoy your evening everyone and thank you for looking :)

Very first ATC

Good morning everyone.
Weather here is absolutely dreadful.
I pity my boys as they are currently camping at the Download music festival at Donington Park.
With an estimated 150,000 people they text to say they were in the 3 row from the main stage which is no mean feat. Goodness only knows what time they got to the main stage arena in order to get that close.
Apparently so far it has been extremely wet but awesome LOL
It was a huge thing for me to let them go and even though they are 17 and 18 I have done nothing but worry ever since ROFL
I know the line up of music artists is the best there has ever been and all their favourite bands are playing but I will be so glad when they make it back home.

Anyway.... Today I am posting my very first ever made ATC.
No idea what the rules are for these other than having to be 2.5 x 3.5 inches *shrugs*
I have used a very pretty digi stamp from the paper shelter. Although I love actual stamps the good thing with digi stamps is you can print them out at any size you need.
Coloured with pencils.
I have used white card and pink handmade paper. Both embossed with a swirl embossing folder from Docrafts. I cut 3 leaves using the my cuttlebug and die cutter flowers and leaf #3 (657224) from sizzix.
I then used a pink inkpad to add a distressed edge to the leaves.
Using a paper towel I used the pink inkpad to brush over the embossing on the white card giving it a distressed look and making the embossing stand out a little more.
I made some cute little handmade flowers using a balloon punch, coloured pink and then added a green gem to the center of each. I punched out 2 little butterflies, shaded them pink with the inkpad and then added some holographic glitter to the butterflies, birds and flowers in her hair and on the branch.
Stuck everything down with some tacky glue and used 3D foam pads to add the main image.
Overall I am pretty pleased with how this turned out so will make another ATC soon.
Thank you for looking :)
