WOYWW - #313

Good morning all.
Finally stopped raining and the sun is shining Wooohooo
Todays post is for the WOYWW blog hop.
Pop on over to the lovely Julia's blog to find out all about this weekly bit of fun.
I actually tidied up my area and this is about as good as it gets at the moment.
As you will probably see in all my desk photos there is my ever present
mug of tea, I say mug but it is probably about double mug size and
yes most of the time it is full. I drink a LOT of tea lol.
My Promarkers all nice and tidy in the peg basket.
Yummy bottle of Diet coke. Another of my many addictions.
Somewhere in the photo below right at the bottom is my sewing machine.
Poor thing hasn't been used very much.
No room at the moment but I am sure it will see the light of day soon.

  2. Dear Julia,

Thanks so much for visiting this morning and for subscribing to my blog! :-) I always surround myself with water - a big closed mug (to keep the cats out) and water bottles for refills, Nothing open - too big a risk of a spill!

I noticed your fibro/cfs ribbon and need one on my sidebar as well!

    Have a lovely day!

  3. What a wonderful space! I love all that great light coming in from the windows! You have tea, I sip coffee. Sometimes, later in the day, I will have iced tea sitting here beside me. Glenda #36

  6. Your space looks really organised, and like you I always have a cuppa balanced somewhere - although I've lost count of the number of times I've picked up and swigged the paint brush water thinking it was the tea mug! Thank you so much for visiting my blog earlier (and yes they are real teabags - there's loads of teabag art on Pinterest if you're interested!), I hope you have a great week,

  8. There's nothing like having your choice of drink when working on you art work. You seem to have all your materials at arm's reach, which is great. Thanks for your visit and Happy WOYWW! #37

  9. I love your busy creative space, Julie! Thank you for your lovely comment and your kind words, and your good wishes for our anniversary and my birthday. All quiet celebrations but lovely nonetheless! So glad you like the idea of my lavender sachets. I've still got a lot to make, and then the little boxes for them. I think they will make very nice little gifts, and I'm certainly enjoying making them!

  10. Hi Julie, a fellow Coke fan here! I love the Vanilla coke, and Cherry. I drink far too much- always have. I'm coffee rather than tea though, but also always have a mug of that beside me. Love the card at the back of the first pic. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #9 xxx

  18. Lots of tea helps the brain function better and at the very least keeps our hands warm while we think about what we are going to create.

  19. We have also had a cold and miserable June so far, and yes, today is sunny and warm! Yay! You have quite the full area for your work - lots of really interesting things! - thanks for sharing! Lindart #51

  20. One of the things I noticed was what looks like a telephone receiver in your pink box. I once left mine in a container I took with me on vacation. Had to laugh when I found it, since I had spent much time beforehand looking for it.

I also like to sip as I make art, but I have a covered mug with me. I worry that I might mistake my cup for dirty paint water, or that I might spill it. You are lucky because I'm not that good at balancing.

Thanks for visiting while I was asleep. Happy WOYWW from # 5.

  22. You sure have a desk full of lovely things, especially the tea. Where would we be without a good cuppa although mine is invariably cold before I drink it, I get too involved in my crafting, lol.
    Thanks for popping by earlier.

Yes, it's always good to drink lots. The nurse in me totally agrees. That reminds me, I just boilt the kettle and forgot to make the tea
    Thanks for visiting me earlier,

  24. I was going to say what a ginormous mug of tea that was! I'm a tea lover too...you can't be Welsh and not have tea permanently on the go, lol!!
So, you have a sewing machine eh? I think we need to see what you do with it :-)

  26. My mug is always full of coffee. And like yours, mine would be considered a "double mug". So much to see visiting your tidy desk today. Hope you find your sewing machine. Thanks for the snoop earlier today. Diane #28

  29. I think the messier and more crowded the workspace the more creative you are. I always like a coffee around but have to be careful where I put it as I've often dunked my brushes into my cup by mistake and it doesn't taste too good.
    Have a great week,

  30. Yeah that cuppa seems precariously balanced to me. I just KNOW I would knock it all over my work! I tend to keep the coffee on the part of the desk with the computer, that is usually more clear, and less likely to hit during a flurry of activity. Like the peg bag of markers. My Copic boxes/stands are nearly full. That might be an idea to use... Why I love WOYWW LOL!

    Happy WOYWW!

  32. I like the idea of organising your makers like that so you don't have to root around for the colours! My sewing machine gets used really intensely sometimes but mostly gathers dust under a pile of things too! Thanks for dropping by yesterday :) Ellie (38)

  33. I'm pretty sure I would knock that mug off :)
I would love to be able to get to my sewing machine, which lives in one of those swanky sewing machine cabinets, but there is too much stuff in front of it ... and nowhere to put all that stuff :(
Thanks for dropping by earlier too.
