Holiday Hair Gabbie

Good morning everyone.
Thought I would share with you all an easel card I have made for the FaeryInk Red, Green and gold challenge.
I have used Holiday Hair Gabbie.
I love this digi.
I have coloured her using Promarkers...
Skin-Coral, Dusky Pink, Pastel Pink, Satin, Ivory
Hair-Henna, Cocoa, Cinnamon, Sandstone
Bows/Ornaments-Gold, Canary, Buttercup, Cardinal Red, Poppy, Red, Holly, Forest Green, Lime Green
Lips/eyes-Cardinal Red, Red, Prussian Blue, Blue Pearl, Pastel Blue, Holly and Forest Green.
Green glitter rope wrapped around berry twigs and around the main image add extra sparkle that twinkles in candle light as do the little gems.
Aren't they just fab ?
The ribbon was originally white and as I have run out of red I coloured it using the Poppy Promarker.
Hand tied and twirled then added using a glue gun.
More berry twigs, poinsettia and gems added to act as the stopper.
The berrys, twigs and gems are from the huge flower bundle stash the hubster got for me.
I have decided to keep this one for myself and she will be sitting on my mantel piece in between the candles and tinsel.
Thank you for visiting and looking today :)

Good morning everyone and a big hello to my new follwers *waves*
This awesome news has been so hard to keep under my hat and I almost let the cat out of the bag (sorry Brenda lol)
I was asked by the wonderful Brenda if I would like to join the Allsorts Design team.
Of course I jumped at the chance and I am very excited to be posting my first official card for them.
Thank you so much to the ladies on the team for such a warm and friendly welcome (thank you ladies)
The challenge at Allsorts this week has been chosen by Mervi and is 'Lots of layers'
The prize this week is the beautiful Susan's Garden from Sizzix so be sure to pop along and join in the fun.

Beach Party

Hello and welcome to my new followers.
Todays card is a quickie for the Die Cuttin Divas challenge.
With a theme of Ice Cream I had a hard time coming up with something until
I came across a summer paper pack that came free with Cardmaking and papercraft.
Isn't it cute ? The boys are having a beacj party with their friends to celebrate
the end of their A-levels but I can't see them using this lol
I distress all layer edges and die cuts with promarkers Gold and a sponge.
Great way to use them as I have no distress inks lol
Items used...
Summer papers from Cardmkaing and papercraft
Promarkers Gold, lime green and pear green.
3 Dies from Spellbinders S4-425 also a flower die and leaf flourish die
(unpackaged when I got them so unsure of the names)

Penny Black Sentiment

Happy Sunday to you all.
Not quite sure what happened to Summer.
We have had pouring rain since 6am this morning.
Shouldn't complain as the garden really does need it.
I am currently sat by the window with it open listening to the rain.
I hate getting wet but I do love listening to it.
Enough of me prattling in.
My card on this visit has been created for the
This months theme is 'Anything goes with a sentiment'.
I created a gate fold card using papers from a magazine
freebie pack called Summer Picnic.
At least I think that's what it was called. The front cover has gone.
As it's picnic season (not today lol) I thought this fitted perfectly.
My main focal stamp  used Penny Blacks Hedehog Joy.
I love this stamp to pieces and use it quite often.
Coloured him with Promarkers Ivory, Grey 3 and 4, Black, tan and pastel pink.
I used a makeup sponge for the sky and grass using a pastel blue and green ink pad.
Other stamps used are Hobby crafts wedding bird and
Helz Bazoo sentiment and flower plus a little busy bee.
Dies used are Xcut XCU-503015 the nesting scalloped squares.
Once I started it this card came together quickly and I am
very pleased with how it turned out.
Especially the hand made bow as I have problems making them
thanks to my stupid fingers lol

Butterfly kisses

Good morning all and what a beautiful start to the week.
Supposed to get up in the 30's this week which for the South Coast is scorching.
My card today has been created with the Allsorts challenge in mind of Blue as the ocean.
Embossed an A4 card sheet using flourishes by Docrafts.
Distressed and picked out the embossing with ink pad.
The Butterfly faerie stamp is Faerie Poppets 'Baby Rosebud' by Christine
Haworth and coloured with pencils from WHSmith and Promarkers for her skin.
Diecuts used are Spellbinders S2-010 and S4-425.
Finished off with Bling, glitter, feathers,  flower and bow.

Poppy surprise

Hi everyone I'm back again.
On my desk earlier I had a Poppy card close to finishing.
Well it's finished but no longer a card I will be giving to anyone lol
I am being a little greedy and keeping it for my desk.
As said in a post what seems like eons ago Poppies,
particularly red ones, remind me of my grandparents.
We lived with them for a while when I was younger
and wherever you went there were fields covered with
glorious vibrant red poppies.
So I added a little calendar and turned it into an easel card.
I will be displaying it as in the 1st picture but with the option
of the calendar as well. Tada lol
I have to say I was unsure about the stamp and die sets as this is my first
but if this set is anything to go by I am hooked.
I stamped and coloured using promarkers first and then cut out
using the matching die set and it cuts beautifully first time.
No having to run it through the cuttlebug numerous times and I didn't even
have to add any paper shims.
Just the B and C plates and voila.
Items I used are...
Promarkers - Poppy, Pine, Grass, Apple and Black
Spellbinders Elegant Ovals Die -  S4-425
Sheena Douglas Poppy Die - SD-PPMD-POP
Sheena Douglas Poppy Stamp - SD-PPS-POP
Ribbon and hand tied bow, glitter and pearls.
I am entering this into the following...

Allsorts - #316 Use a stamp
Stamping sensations - Dies and punches
Love rubberstamps - #157 Use a die cut
Craft-Dee BowZ - Anything goes
As you like it  - Favourite book - Where poppies grow by Linda Granfield because it serves as a very good reminder of what my Grandfather (and so many others) went through so I can have the life I have today.

Penny Black ATC

Good morning everyone *waves*
Not that there is much good about it.
Weather has turned cold, wet and horrible again.
It was so beautiful yesterday as well,
I actually thought it would last a little longer than one day but oh well.
Onwards and upwards as they say lol.
A super huge thank you to everyone who left a comment yesterday.
I have never had so many in one day. Made me feel really special lol
This ATC has been created for the Penny Black and more monthly challenge.
Theme for this month is 'Punches and Dies'
Stamps used are from Penny Black set 'Mimi's Many Loves' and coloured with Promarkers
The die I have used is Xcuts 'Vintage notes - Doily'.
I haven't used all the die though as you can see, I have just used sections for the corners of the ATC.
In this last picture you will see one of my little helpers.
I was working on my lap today and it's a good job he is so tiny or he would never have fit in that little gap lol
Meet Dio, he is one of my two Chihuahuas and a real little Mummy's boy :)
