Life... Scallop circle digi stamp freebie

Good morning everyone.
The weather is still beautiful here although a little chillier today.
The garden is finally beginning to bloom and I love it.
The hubster and kiddo's are going to be building a patio for me soon so I will be able to sit in the garden and craft.
I can't wait. I just adore sitting in the garden listening to all the birds.
We are very lucky in that we back onto fields and other than a few neighbours there is no other road noise.
We have numerous feeders in the gardens for the birds and will be building a wildlife area to encourage the bees and butterflies in.
It is so frustrating that I can no longer do it myself but hubster and the kiddo's are happy to do it for me.
I am very lucky there. I say kiddo's but the boys are 16 and 17 LOL Still ny babies though regardless of how much they try and deny it ;)
Will be taking lot's of pics so will post updates when they start :)

Celebrate Spring

Oooooh I'm on a roll today.
Shame it's time to go to bed LOL
Created this card for Pan Pastels Red white and blue challenge 16.
I have used a digi stamp (name to come as soon as I find it) coloured with my trusty pencils.
Quilled flowers and butterfly (go me) and used my Cuttlebug to cut out the scallops.
The stamped image is from Digi Darla's

Thank you everyone for the fabulous comments on yesterdays card and my excitement over my Cuttlebug.
Firstly I shall post my new card and then at the bottom will be the side by side pics for the embossing folder I used in yesterdays and todays cards as requested by Melody D.
I have created this easel card for the colour challenge at Cuttlebug Mania
Colours to use are Purple and Green.
Dies used for the flower and leaves are from Sizzix and the little dragonflies are a punch.
The glittery purple background and purple ribbon are from good old poundland.

Cuttlebug Mania - Colour Challenge

It's Official and Penny Black's Hedgehog Joy

It's Official......
I have the best hubster whom I love very much.
Why ?
He bought me a Cuttlebug LOL
Of course I love him dearly anyway.
Not a brand new one but I already love it to pieces and i've only used it today.
All I need now are dies but i'll be kind to his wallet and wait a little while.

I used my cuttlebug to finish off the card below for the Penny Black and more allsorts challenge blog.

Firstly I used a see-d background stamp in a pink whisper ink.
I then embossed with floral provocraft folder using my cuttlebug (love saying that)
Die cut some flowers and leaves using Marianne Design Creatables Die - Floral 3 LR0107 and a free paper from last months cardmaking and papercraft.
The ribbon and bow I made using the ribbon that tied my blank cards (yes i'm a cheapskate)
I then stamped Penny Black's Hedgehog Joy and coloured using my poundland pencils.
Growing fond of them now lol. Used a fiskars template to cut the circle and inked the edges using the same colour ink I used for the background.
Stamped and cut out a sentiment, inked the edges and used 3D sticky pads for the circle and sentiment and Anitas tacky glue for the flowers, ribbon and finished it off with some card candi in the center of each flower.

Can you tell yet what is missing ? Glitter. Yep. Not a single spec of glitter added. A first for me.
Also before anyone spots it. I embossed the card the wrong way round ROFL
Instead of the flowers popping out the front they are on the inside but hey ho you live and learn LOL

Flower swirl digi stamp freebie

Sorry I haven't been posting any freebies or commenting but I haven't been very well.
Nothing serious just the usual crud fibro etc keeps dishing out.
Bloody body is such a pain in the tush. My mind is willing (when I remember) but the body doesn't want to pay ball.
Still mustn't grumble. The sun is shining and it is absolutely beautiful outside so after posting this I am going to sit in the garden :)

Petal Pixie Book and stand card sheet freebie

Morning all.
I spent the majority of my online time yesterday floating around blogs and sites looking for inspiration.
WOW so much talent and sheer awesomeness around the net.
I fell across a few quilling blogs.
Puts my feeble card attempts to shame I can tell you LOL
Weather is back to dull and dreary.
I am beginning to wonder if we will actually get a Spring this year.
I did notice that the aquilegia seeds I panted are sprouting nicely.
I have a freebie sheet for you again today.
It's a book card and stand.
Add each page with some foam pads or silicone glue to give them depth.
Glam it up with a ribbon/Bow, glitter and some pearls to make it really pop.

Angellica Angel easel card

Afternoon all.

I hope you are having a pleasant day.
Nothing out of the ordinary here today.
Everyday seems to be the same LOL
I have a card to show off today that I am really pleased with.
I am sure this is another that will eventually find it's way to my Mother-In-Law.
I have used my Angellica digi freebie for the main focus, once again coloured in with the £1 land colour pencils.
Only downfall is there aren't very many colours LOL
Cut out and added to a silver backing card.
Her wings and center of her dress I have painted with holographic glitter glue.
My Son wasn't over the moon to have his artist brushes used for glue but he forgave me ;)
I added some papers from last months card making and paper craft for the card.
Added a strip of glittery silver ribbon and some lace.
Can you tell yet that I like glitter ?
Popped on some flowers and gems and voila.
One completed easel card.

OMG I Won a challenge

I am so stoked at the moment.

I was looking through the challenges at all the beautiful cards people are making when I came to Pan Pastels challenge blog.
OMG image the shock when I saw my name there as the winner for my card here.
I am so excited I feel like a kid in a candy store LOL
OK sorry about my raving but I just had to let you all know nothing is impossible :)

Just For you

This is my attempt for the 'Letter of your name' challenge over at Allsorts challenge blog this week.
Only thing I could think of beginning with J was jelly LOL
No jelly stamps and I didn't fancy drawing any so i'm afraid it's only in the sentiment.
Sucks I know but everyone has to learn somewhere right ?
Anywhoo I used decoupage and glitter for the lady and some fluffy type string stuff (technical name yep lol) and ribbon brad to create the bow.
Topped off with some glitter (I am loving this holographic glitter) and a few gems.
Oh and the lacy bit going across the middle is from a roll of decorative tape from pound land.
Wanted to see what it was like as I don't have any decorative dies so I shall be back there for some more.

Angellica Guardian Angel Digistamp freebie

Evening all.
Boy am I pooped. Went into town today and it has wiped me out.
I'm not often pain free long enough and it made a nice change especially as it was nice and warm.
Of course I had to grab a few bits to add to my card making collection.
No cutting machine, Dies or stamps but a few little embellishments.
For anyone who has 'The Works' near them pop along and take a peek at their craft section.
Picked up a few bits today and only 99p - £1.49 each including 30 sheets of A4 card for 99p :)

Today I would like to introduce you to Angellica.
I am really pleased with her and I think there will be more Digi stamps with her.
I think she is super cute but of course I am biased LOL

Bit chilly here but the forecast for the week-end is looking mighty fine.

Anniversary book card with stand

I designed this card sheet using the computer, printed onto photo paper for the book and card for the stand.
Glitter added to the dove and a little gem to the bookmark ribbon and sequin middles below the poem.
I do apologize for the poor lighting in the photos.
Too bright with the flash but bleh without.
Will have to get the hubster to make me some sort of light box.

Actually managed to get out into the garden yesterday.
Although it is still pretty chilly the sun was shining.
The hubster followed orders very nicely and moved about garden pots and weeded where asked.
He does come in handy occasionally LOL
I do miss being able to get down on my hands and knees and do it all myself as gardening was always a huge  part of my life especially in the spring.
Still, should be complaining really as at least I am still breathing ROFL

Today seeing as how it is now typically bucketing down outside I thought this freebie was quite appropriate.

Just got these in my mailbox from my Mother-in-law and thought I would share them.
I dare you not to giggle.
